The goal of the Valencia Lakes Computer User Group
is to enhance the lifestyle of our residents by offering programs
that increase their skills, knowledge and understanding of computers.

Meetings 2007 - 2008
Our first meeting of the new season will be on
Thursday, October.18th at 7:30 PM
in the Excelsior Club Social Hall.
"IS YOUR COMPUTER REALLY SECURE?"

This topic of computer security is so important that we have invited
the President of the Florida Association of Computer User Groups
to share the spotlight with Bob Schneidman.
The meeting will also be open to the entire community.
You need not be a member of the VLCUG to attend.
We cannot stress enough the fact that many people living in Valencia Lakes are under the false belief that they are safe. The dangers come from many different places. Not all security programs are equal. None are effective against all dangers.
If you only attend one meeting this year, this is the one to attend. In this situation, ignorance can be catastrophic.
We have an Epson Scanner that will be given away as a door prize;
however, only members are eligible.
